潓游集 My Journey : 澳门,半个背包客之行 Macau,half backpacker trip

This post suppose to write in past few months, but again laziness keep me postponing the post for more than half year.

I visited Macau during July with my buddy, Mun. This trip was booked half year before depart. We got a very cheap Flight Ticket during Air Asia 0 Fares promotion.

The trip is first free and easy trip for us. It is first time fully self planning trip, not following any travel agencies or group. So, we considered it as a half backpacker trip, =P Anyway, Macau is a wonderful and full of excitement experiences for both of us.

The excitement has over the tiredness for not sleeping well the night before in LCCT. Once reach Macau, we took a free bus to Venetian Hotel. (There are different free bus available to different casino in airport, so those wanna save money can fully utilize these free bus services). Reach Venetian, we just have a short visit to the casino, then continue with our first destination...which is Casas-Museu da Taipa.

Casas Museu da Taipa was built in 1921, was once residences for high superior and macanese families.
This place was officially transform into museum in year 1992. There are five houses here presented different themes, namely "Macanese House", " House of the islands","House of Portugal Regions", "Exhibition Gallery", "House of Receptions" Houses in this museum are painted in pale green, will give a kind of fresh feeling when you are here.
The Entrance fee is only hk $2 ( student price), about 15 minutes walking distance from Venetian Hotel .

There is a famous Carmel Church next to the museum. Continue with 10 minutes walk, we reached Ruo de Cunha, famous souvenier street in Taipa. We bought our first Portuguese Tart here ...the tart is crusty ..yummy! yummy!

We planned to eat the famous pork burger in Taipa in Cafe Tai Lei Loi Kei , but it only starts to sell in 3pm , so we choose to try the pork chop Vermichelli (bihun). Credit to the Cafe is the Pork chop is quite big and worth to give a try. (hk$ 22)

Next, we took public bus no.33 to Macau main island. We stopped near Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro. This is a busy street , crowded with people , various restaurants, banks , shops. It is convenient and easy to get various local foods here.

We took bus to the famous Ma zhu Temple and Mariteime Museum. There are only three bus rates; hk$ 3.20( within the island) or $4.20 ( taipa-Macau penisular) or $5.00(coloane).It's convenient for sightseeing around Macau using Public bus, bus services is efficient but the attitude of some bus drivers were rude and unfriendly =(

Ma-Zhu Temple was the oldest temple in Macau , existed since 15th century, before Macau was formed.

You can take any bus that stop in the terminal . The ma zhu temple and Maritime Museum just opposite the Bus terminal in Macau. The Entrance fee for Maritime Museum is hk$10.

After that， we continued walk near the streets where we also don't know the name. we have passed many residential areas, schools, local groceries shops....narrow streets... after hours walk, , we lost directions and have no idea with where we are.. lost in the middle of somewhere...wow..great experience too! i enjoy the unexpected plan along the journey , it's so exciting.

At night, we went to Fisherman Wharf , the place is not happening as what we thought, anyway it was raining , so no choice , have to settle our dinner here. i think the place should be a nice place to visit during daytime, but we miss it.

Another fun thing we did is spent hk$10 on slot machine in each casino in this trip ( just for fun) , we managed to visit more than ten different casinos and spent about hk$ 100 plus plus. hahahaha

St Dominic's Church

The church is also know as the "Church of Our Lady of the Rosary" because it was originally dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary. After 1929, the church was dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima.

Ruo do Lilau- Situated in the old Christian quarter, a place where Portuguese first settle in the Macau. The most significant place along the street is Lilau Square (Largo do Lilau)

澳门游记

机票订了大半年，澳门之旅终于到了。去澳门之前，与jane真正面对面筹备才两次。第一次，算是空谈，两个傻婆拿着地图在old town不懂看什么，指手画脚；第二次，同样拿着地图寻找酒店，同样是old town，找旅游景点，但不能上网，最后到马大理学院坐地板找资料。去吃日本大餐前成功订了酒店，开心。说实话，这次的旅程，可说完全没有筹备，直到上飞机的前一天。

十一点睡两点起。四点到机场六点上机十点抵达澳门机场。下了机换了裤乱撞乱撞之下坐巴士到威尼斯。好美的天花板，广场里有人唱歌有人划船。如果能和喜欢的人在一起坐船听人唱歌，多浪漫。再乱乱走到博物馆+官也街。路途经过没有校园的中小学。官也街有点像马六甲。舞狮起舞，好热闹。澳门第一口咬的食物，非澳门葡挞莫属。好吃。午餐的猪排米粉清淡好吃。

搭巴士到旅店。讨厌那骗我们冰淇淋钱的uncle...grrr...我的hk20啊!!!应该是第一次吃那么贵又那么普通的冰淇淋。

不过很好的经验。^^旅店的设施简单，但还可以接受，不过隔音系统有待加强。晚上还睡得挺舒服的。双皮奶太多奶，还是红豆奶比较好喝。

搭巴士到妈祖阁+海事博物馆，了解更多澳门的历史。过后走走走，走不到要去的教堂。遇到两位来自california和不懂哪里的情侣，相信他们也是背包旅客，寒暄两句，感觉很好。绕了很大的圈才抵达郑家大屋。才几分钟就到5点30分了。还好还来得及。好大的园子。下个景点应该是澳门塔。不过被uncle“骗”了。在一个喂蚊子的公园下车，走路回酒店洗个澡。港澳码头，到处都是船公司，像pudu。不过这里卖的是船票；渔人码头，没有想象的热闹。下大雨，鞋湿了，不好走。吃了猪扒包+海鲜汤。有机会一定要回去吃那日本餐。

第一间赌场，永利赌场，发财树+龙的表演，看得目瞪口呆。好像在拍电影。hk10没了。不过好玩。走了一整天，累。在麦当劳走一圈没收获后，回到酒店倒头就睡。

第二天一早，旅店可爱的老板介绍我们那早餐的餐馆人多，看起来很贵，放弃了。典型茶餐室的皮蛋瘦肉粥+美式早餐+波罗包+两杯奶茶。丰富。回想起来，如果当时有两粒普通的蛋挞，应该更像香港早餐，更完美。茶室的老伯忘了那间店营业了多少年。可见茶室已有一把年纪了。

十点半开始逛大三巴+澳门博物馆+大炮。开始下雨。虽然只是细雨，但极度不方便。完全没买纪念品，因为决定隔天再回来。买了防晒膏。名牌店很多，但不便宜。午餐-小档口解决，买到便宜矿泉水。开心。菲律宾人买酒，帮上两句。卢家大屋不比郑家大屋大，但进卢家大屋的比郑家大屋有感觉。

在大三巴一带走了很多路。澳门书店尝试找蒋老师的字典，但找不到。买了澳门邮票和一支麦当劳冰淇淋后，乘搭巴士到孙逸山路。当时4点多。只能从文化馆和澳门科学馆之中二选一。最后选了科学馆。对科学毫无头绪的我，对那些了解科学的人特别欣赏。我不是很明白为什么爱迪生、达文西等科学家能发明那么多事务。澳门科学馆设计和马来西亚科学馆相似。是不是全世界的科学馆都是一样的呢？有机会得去其它国家科学馆参观参观。事隔两年，在不同国度的科学馆参与达文西展览。再次看到那些木棍，很有感觉。和jane应该用了30分钟才完成任务。比我们迟来的人都比我们早完成。失败数次后，jane还是不放弃。还挺欣赏她那坚持。完成后异常兴奋。已不记得上次在马来西亚科学馆用多少时间完成那堆木棍。感叹往事只能回味。过后才知道科学馆星期四没开。Jane，我们是幸运的。。。

参观完毕后，走路去观音像。拜拜后就吃晚餐了。街上异常冷清。那家组屋下的叉烧烧肉贩应该挺出名。饭后漫步到金沙赌场。赢了hk8。兴奋。过后到外观非常美观的巴比伦赌场。不过，赌场里面没有老虎机。参观一圈后，再次走到港澳码头搭巴士去新旧葡京赌场。下雨和没雨的渔人码头景色有差别，但人潮仍然不多。现场版的fireworks还蛮好听的。澳门数一数二著名的新旧葡京人潮一样多。在，由于旧葡京没有我们要的老虎机，所以在新葡京花了hk20。回旅店路途喝了五味茶。没有想象中的苦。那凉茶摊连阿伦都曾去。不错不错。晚上算钱时才发觉给旅店费时给了人民币，亏了大约40澳币。只怪自己太大意。。。

在澳门第三天在三元粥吃了早餐。天真的我还真的以为三元一碗粥，怎知只是店名。哈哈。粥配油条，绝配。不过猪肉丸太大、太多，吃不完，有点浪费。

走去大三巴的路途中走错路。走了一条又长又斜的路。在小花园休息，看到澳门住户另一面。十点多的大三巴很多店还没开始营业。买了手信后，在大三巴星巴克坐一会儿，品尝香浓美味不过带点甜的咖啡。

买了“我爱澳门”的衬衫后马上到厕所换，再搭巴士到澳门大学。还以为澳门大学有类似马大校园的范围，怎知图书馆后走到行政大楼，才区区五分钟。指示我们的那位大叔还说需二十分钟。太夸张了吧。进入校园范围完全不用通过保安，而且再步行三分钟，就抵达希腊赌场。大学和赌场就在隔壁，是在鼓励大学生赌博吗？澳门政府真的很开放。这种情形在马来西亚不可能发生。

参观没有5仙老虎机的希腊赌场后，搭巴士到官也街，享用我们期待已久的葡萄牙大餐。香肠太咸，吃不到什么味道。烧烤鱼好吃。jane 的“cod fish”也不错，整盘软软的。适合老人家吃。隔壁坐的日本人吃了好多好料。有螃蟹、鱼、沙拉等等。等我赚到钱，一定再吃豪华大餐。这餐吃了300澳币，可说是我吃过最贵的一餐，不过很满足。
